Ideal cases

The general workflow for ideal case simulation is :

• initialize the surface fields : idealised (PREP_IDEAL_CASE) or realistic (PREP_PGD)

• specify an horizontally uniform atmosphere from a profile (PREP_IDEAL_CASE)

• specify atmospheric vertical forcings (PREP_IDEAL_CASE)

• (optional) add a perturbation (PREP_IDEAL_CASE)

• start the time-integration (MESONH)

• (optional) compute diagnostics (DIAG and SPECTRE)

A few examples are described hereafter :

• One dimensional (single column z) with ideal surface
• Two dimensional (cross-section xz or yz) with ideal surface
• Three dimensional (xyz) with ideal surface
• Three dimensional (xyz) with real surface
